A personal project by Mike Sego

The party starts
before anyone
arrives.

I built Sego-Zhuo Events to give our gatherings a little more imagination—and our guests a little less to figure out.

It’s a home for invitations, RSVPs, and all the thoughtful details in between. From a morning of LEGO builds to an elaborate birthday mystery, each event gets to feel like itself.

A very suspicious birthday.

Big ideas. Little bricks.

Less organizing. More being together.

A good gathering has a lot of little parts.

An invitation with a personality

Each gathering gets its own world: custom artwork, a story, and the details that make people look forward to being there.

A simpler yes, maybe, or no

Guests can reply, tell the hosts who’s coming, and share the little things that help everyone feel welcome.

The practical bits, together

Schedules, directions, calendar downloads, and updates live alongside the invitation, ready when guests need them.

A little privacy, by design

Passwords and personal invitation links protect guest access. Contact details, host notes, and party administration stay private.

Sometimes, the invitation becomes part of the game

Meet the suspects.

For Murder in the Muddy Puddles, the invitation includes character portraits, voices, a short film, and costumes. Invited guests can reserve a character before stepping into the mystery.
